Sorry we haven't had an episode out for a while, due to the construction work going on at the Cafe, so I decided to put together a little slideshow to fill the gap between shows. Fortunately, now that we have a Camera at the Cafe, and Ellen will be learning to do the video editing on her new Mac Mini at home, we should be getting some more footage up soon. I see this program following a bit of a change in the future, so far as production folow, in that we may allow a week for an episode to be finalized before it's uploaded to the website, which should yield better teamwork and a higher quality production.

What is the Zawadi Exchange?
Connecting with people and finding out what there talents, gifts and dreams are.

How did it begin?
His minister at Broadway United Methodist (???check this on taping) gave him a mission
to use his gift of listening to go into the neighborhood and just talk with people.
That assignment was about three years ago. About 1 1/2 years ago it became Zawadi Exchange.

What is the purpose?
Showing people that it's not just a "bad neighborhood" full of crime or whatever. Show that
it's a neighborhood filled with talented individuals. There are lots of gifts available
here ---- 70 gardeners, 25 artists and several cooks for example.

About the "Roving Listener" and what he does?
Just go up to people's houses and talk with them.
